10 Wrestlers Who Had Great Matches When Injured

3. Triple H Wrestles Without A Leg - Raw 2001

Triple H hadn't literally lost his leg when he teamed with Steve Austin against Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho on the May 21st 2001 Raw. However, figuratively, he was fighting on one leg that night, after suffering a very serious quadricep tear during the action. It all happened so quickly. Hunter went towards Chris Jericho to break up a submission he had over Austin, but as he stepped forward, his entire left leg buckled. His quad muscle had ripped from the bone and rolled up his leg. Despite being unable to put any weight on the leg, the match still ended up being an entertaining romp. Hunter refused to let the injury stop him and even went on to take Jericho's Walls submission hold. That was hardly the wisest move, with the Walls Of Jericho basically being a stretch of a person's quadriceps!
