10 Wrestlers Most Hated By Their Peers

9. JBL

I'm hated by most of the people backstage and I'm loving it, Maggle! Okay, JBL might have mellowed out a lot in the last few years and he does a lot of good work for charity but, for a time, he was one of the most despised members of the WWE locker room. Most of the hate came from the fact that Bradshaw would legitimately beat up and bully people in the ring and backstage. JBL, like Hardcore Holly, was used by Vince McMahon and Jim Ross on occasion to test new WWE talents and set others straight if they were becoming a problem backstage. Bully/Bubba Ray has told a story about how Vince instructed Bradshaw to legitimately punch and kick him in a singles match the two had when Bubba first came to the company. While Ray and other some others may have accepted this, it didn't sit well with others who hated working with Bradshaw because they knew they were in for a rough night. What most people hated, however, was JBL's backstage behaviour. Many former employees have openly complained about JBL's hazing and ribbing in recent years. Rene Dupree in his RF Video shoot interview described how JBL would call him a 'French f*ggot' every time he went to shake his hand. Jeff Hardy had a similar story where he was told to 'go to hell' by JBL every time he extended his hand. The Blue Meanie was pummelled by JBL during the show-closing brawl of ECW One Night Stand in 2005, busting him open. This was 'revenge' for Meanie recounting the hazing that he endured at the hands of JBL during his first run with the WWF in 1999. There are many other stories like those ones regarding JBL. Sometimes JBL goes too far and wrestlers have fought back. Both Steve Blackman and, believe it or not, Joe Styles have punched Bradshaw's lights out in the past. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jE_xaBXE-w
