10 Wrestlers Most Hated By Their Peers

5. Buff Bagwell

Did Buff Bagwell blow it in the WWF or what? Bagwell was one of the few top level superstars that opted to make a go of it in the company instead of sitting on his Time Warner contract. It was a decision he would come to regret. Bagwell was not especially like in WCW where he (like many others) developed a huge ego and basically just did whatever he wanted without fear of reprisals. Although there was one time that a wrestler retaliated and took offense to Bagwell's behaviour: Ernest Miller once shot on Bagwell backstage after 'The Stuff' slapped 'The Cat'. Buff fell on his ass and then walked away before any more damage could be done. His arrogance may have been largely tolerated (or ignored) in WCW, which was in dire straits as Buff was heading to the top, but things were a different story in the WWF. Bagwell would constantly show up late for events despite repeated warnings to show up on time. Then he got into a fight with Shane Helms at a training session. After that, he faked an injury after the APA had powerbombed him on Smackdown. As if he couldn't annoy his co-workers and employees any more, Buff's mother Judy Bagwell called up the office to request that her son be given time off. Bagwell also had a notoriously awful main event with Booker T on Raw, which caused thousands of fans to exit the arena on camera while the match was in progress. Believe it or not, all of this happened within a matter of weeks. Bagwell was fired, but not before the WWF veteran crew handed him a real ass kicking in the ring.
