It's easy to see why The Miz was despised by his peers when he first made it to WWE. For a start, he was coming from reality TV shows The Real World and Tough Enough. As far as WWE wrestlers were concerned, The Miz hadn't paid his dues and was getting an easy ride. So obstacle number one was trying to get over the reality star perception. Obstacle number two was his own personality. It seemed that the awesome one had a habit for rubbing people up the wrong way. On his infamous Art Of Wrestling podcast appearance last year, CM Punk quipped that there was nobody in the company who hadn't at one point wanted to kick Miz' ass. Just look at The Miz when he debuted on Smackdown in 2006: he had a fauxhawk, wore a fedora hat and awful jean shorts. Who wouldn't want to kick his ass? It was a great way to get heat from the fans (who also didn't respect him) but it was a sure fire way to convince the boys you weren't taking your craft seriously. The Miz was kicked out of the WWE locker room after he was caught dropping chicken on Chris Benoit's bag. He had to change out in the hall for six months. JBL also regularly mocked him backstage and on commentary. To his credit, The Miz persevered and is one of WWE's most tenured wrestlers at present.
