10 Wrestlers Who Left WWE Due To Injuries

7. Dynamite Kid

Due to a large number of back and leg injuries suffered during his career, The Dynamite Kid is officially classed as disabled and uses a wheelchair. He has been told he will never walk again. Kid was well known for delivering numerous diving head butts during his career and this is seen by many as the source of all his problems. In addition to his paralysis, Kid has also suffered from heart problems in the past and reportedly suffered a stroke last year. Kid retired from in-ring action in October 1996. His last match was the "Legends of High-Flying" 6-Man Tag featuring the team of himself, Dos Caras and Kuniaki Kobayashi against The Great Sasuke, Mil Máscaras and Tiger Mask. While at the airport waiting to return home, he had a second seizure and was admitted hospital immediately. Less than a year later he lost the use of his left leg before total paralysis took its hold. He is cared for at home by his wife Dot. Kid's only public appearance in recent years was in the 2007 CNN documentary, Death Grip Inside Pro Wrestling where he discussed the detrimental effects professional wrestling had on his life.
