10 Wrestlers Likely To Miss WWE WrestleMania 38

5. The Viking Raiders

The Viking Raiders have had "their turn", and what a sh*tty turn it was, even by WWE standards.

A lot of fans/critics/FOMO observers are calloused to just how dire the creative is at this point, but their late winter "push" really was as catastrophic as it was insulting. There's no plan for anybody outside of a few select names. You are simply meant to invest in an act whenever Vince McMahon tells you, irrespective of what they had accomplished (or hadn't) in the prior months. The Viking Raiders had lost within minutes the prior week before they were suddenly pushed as title contenders, and even then, "push" is hardly the word. They lost singles matches against the Usos in even less time, and they didn't even work the match at Elimination Chamber. They were beaten down before the bell. WWE has sold Pillmaniser angles for longer than that.

Rick Boogs and Nakamura are having their "turn" now, and in typical WWE fashion, the build differs almost entirely but remains just as dismal; Boogs defeated Main Event Jey Uso on SmackDown this week.

Turns out the nickname was apt all along, only, it referred to the show.
