1. AJ Styles
For years, fans dreamed of the day AJ Styles would set foot in a WWE ring. With every passing year in TNA and Ring of Honor advanced, though, it started to look unlikely that that time would ever come. Then, at January's Royal Rumble, The Phenomenal One finally made those dreams a reality. Since that night, he has been engaged in a rivalry with Chris Jericho. What started as program rooted in respect, with great sportsmanship shown by each competitor, has descended into one of betrayal and hatred following the events of the March 7 episode of Raw. After enduring a Codebreaker, then being humiliated by Jericho, Styles will undoubtedly be out for revenge. Expect him to get it at WrestleMania, in what will be his first opportunity to compete under a spotlight that bright. AJ has earned the "Phenomenal" moniker thanks to years of outstanding performances. From the days of competing in front of 300 people in Nashville for TNA to battling Okada in front of 11,000 fans for New Japan Pro Wrestling, Styles has exceeded in every situation imaginable. To achieve greatness at the biggest and most prestigious event the industry has to offer, he will have to prove to 84,000 fans why he is, arguably, the best in his field. That will likely come against Jericho in what will be the final chapter of their months-long rivalry.
