10 Wrestlers Set To Make Their WrestleMania Debuts

6. Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman is the first of the Superstars on our list almost guaranteed to make his WrestleMania debut. The muscle of The Wyatt Family, Strowman has been at the center of Internet reports from the moment he debuted. First, 'Mania plans called for him to wrestle The Undertaker. Diehard fans rejected the idea, taking to forums and social media to decry the possibility of the super green rookie sharing the same ring with the all-time great at the most prestigious event of the year. From there, rumors circulated around the possibility of a match with Brock Lesnar, another decision that did not strike fans as particularly thrilling. When plans for a Lesnar-Bray Wyatt match were called off in the wake of Fastlane, The Wyatt Family suddenly found themselves without any feud or program for the event. Normally, that would spell disaster for the faction. Instead, though, it presents Strowman with an opportunity to compete in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, a match that better suits his abilities at this point in his career. Strowman is a freak of nature, an attraction. He should be used sparingly, that way his actual in-ring performances are greeted with greater anticipation and they mean more. WWE should learn from its mistakes with Big Show and be sure not to replicate them. It can start by booking Strowman to win the annual Battle Royal, a match he figures to be the heavy favorite in if, and when, it is officially announced.
