10 Wrestlers That Became Stars In ONE SECOND

1. Danhausen (AEW Dynamite, 26th January 2022)

A "very nice, very evil" debut that couldn't possibly have happened if the wrestling monopoly hadn't been smashed in 2019, Danhausen's arrival in All Elite Wrestling spoke to the creative freedom in a company willing to take a punt on buzz.

A strange and divisive character, the teeth-obsessed parodic persona got over enormously online in a manner that made his wrestling almost secondary to whatever he could offer in promos and segments.

That was the inherent intelligence in booking him to emerge from under the ring and place a curse on Adam Cole. Those that knew the shtick were sure to go wild, and those that didn't could only observe the wildness and take from it that he was somebody to pay attention to.

It even applied to Cole's opponent Orange Cassidy - Danhausen got such an enormous reaction in the building that the laid back Best Friend couldn't supress a rye and charming chuckle.
