'Oh, she's just a Bill Goldberg knock off'. 'Urgh, she doesn't deserve to be featured so prominently on AEW TV'. 'Man, everyone she shares the ring with should get a medal for carrying her'. All of those are (paraphrased) comments yours truly has read about one Jade Cargill since 2021.

Again, there's little time for newbies to find their feet in-ring or on the mic before everyone judges them like they're supposed to be The Rock circa 2000 immediately. Jade might not be a technical marvel between the ropes, but she's comfortable on promos and looks like she should be behind plastic and on display next to action figures of f*cking She-Hulk.

The woman looks, acts and walks like a top star.

Tony Khan will give Cargill room to breathe, and rightly so. The AEW boss knows he has someone special on his hands here, and no amount of lifeless 'Goldberg in WCW' comparisons will stop him from pushing her to the moon.
