10 Wrestlers That Fell Off HARD

3. Ryback

This big guy was once poised as a main event star during a time when WWE was going through a leading man crisis. Now, he's an absolute ghost in the wrestling world, with his online legacy mired with off-kilter Tweets and a semi-successful YouTube career.

Ryback got his first shot with the company as part of The Nexus, where he mostly faded into the background as Skip Sheffield. But, he got some traction when returning from an injury in 2012 with his new character of Ryback. He put on dominant performances, had an impressive physique, and a catchphrase that caught on quickly: "Feed me more!"

He hit a peak during the first year of this run, challenging for the WWE Championship multiple times against CM Punk and John Cena. However, as time went on and his attempts to get the big belt kept failing, he slipped further and further down the card.

After a while, he was placed into a makeshift tag team with fellow fallen prodigy Curtis Axel, and this became the beginning of the end. A lacklustre Intercontinental Title run did nothing to bring him out of the undercard, and he would eventually part ways with the company in 2016.

Nowadays, he is completely retired from the industry, focusing instead on making YouTube videos and being an occasional menace on Twitter.
