10 Wrestlers That Made Fans Change The Channel

3. Brodie Lee (2020)

Edge Lita Live Sex Celebration
AEW

On the September 9th 2020 edition of Dynamite, AEW managed to break a million viewers for the first time since October 16th 2019. This despite the fact that the show had been moved around the schedule due to TNT's commitment to the NBA, and the ongoing global b*stard that had caused the scheduling kerfuffles in the first place.

This was cause for celebration, and several acts and angles could theoretically take credit for the result - including the uncomfortable promotion of Matt Hardy, who was last seen looking to be suffering from serious head injuries at a pay-per-view days earlier - but Brodie Lee can justifiably stand atop the rest just as he did at the end of the episode.

His demolition of Cody and The Nightmare Family weeks earlier completed the improbable (second) overhaul of The Dark Order, anoiting the stable as AEW's most potent thread and its leader as the pitch black counterpart to heroic Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley.

The whole product is strong, but as the Dark Order have now proven on and off screen, there's even greater strength in numbers.
