10 Wrestlers That Stole Others Wrestler's Masks

ALL IN

This was explosively, transcendently good.

At 2018's ALL IN, a combination of the Chicago locale and a pronounced alternative-to-WWE rhetoric left fans sure that the stage was being set for the shocking return of one man. But those same fans forgot all about CM Punk when Chris Jericho pulled off his Penta mask.

Returning to violently avenge his January 4th Wrestle Kingdom loss against Kenny Omega earlier that year, Jericho mirrored his sneak attack on Tetsuya Naito on January 5th by giving the 'Best Bout Machine' a surprise battering on a night designed to celebrate the the spirit and success of the IWGP Heavyweight Champion and his best friends.

Having just endured a war against Penta, Omega was exhausted and couldn't do much about the "WWE" star making his first United States appearance outside of the organisation for nearly 20 years. The heft wasn't lost on the crowd as they soaked up the moment, including eventual AEW owner Tony Khan. Wisely spotting the crossover star power Jericho brought to proceedings, he presented the pair as the company's first pay-per-view main event and 'The Painmaker' as his first Champion.
