10 Wrestlers That Were Better Off Without The Mask

8. Hunico

This might be a bit harsh really, as Hunico has the misfortune of working under the seemingly cursed Sin Cara mask. A consistent and underrated performer, Hunico must pull on that cursed hood every day and suffer the bumps and bruises that come with being the man without a face.

He is one example of a performer getting more opportunities whilst working under a mask. Hunico wasn't really going anywhere, losing most of his matches and working mostly in a tag team. Sin Cara, however, well, he loses most of his matches and works mostly in a tag team.

Oh well. With Kalisto now in WWE, the Sin Cara can surely be put to rest and Hunico can go back to performing without a mask, where he was far better off.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
