10 Wrestlers Tony Khan Banned From AEW
4. Christopher Daniels
An already-forgotten byproduct of the fallout from the year’s biggest real pro wrestling fight, beloved off and on-screen figure Christopher Daniels was one of several peripheral figures to find himself temporarily iced from his multiple roles after the post-All Out 2022 chaos.
Daniels, Michael Nakazawa, Pat Buck, Brandon Cutler, were all sent home along with CM Punk, Ace Steel and The Young Bucks for the skirmish the latter crew were all apart of, and it took internal investigations to bring the agents and extras back to work.
A three decade veteran and founding father of AEW in many respects, Daniels' name being included amongst the slew of folk was disappointing in the extreme until enough of the full story came out that cleared any cynical involvement on his part. The SCU man only wrestles occasionally now, but the prospect of him having no place on a show his legendary legacy helped forge seemed like yet another cruel result of the entire regrettable incident.
