10 Wrestlers Tony Khan Banned From AEW

3. The Briscoes...

...or, if Tony Khan didn't, somebody else did and convinced him to see it through in his capacity as AEW President.

Having wrestled arguably the best match of 2022 and comfortably the best in the short history of Khan's Ring Of Honor against current doubles doyens FTR, Mark and Jay Briscoe only got one more mach under the AEW President's pencil - a rematch against Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler at July's Death Before Dishonor.

Based on every other talent that's since worked between both AEW and ROH since Khan's March purchase of the fabled brand, it's now too clear that something or somebody is blocking 'Dem Boyz' appearing on TBS or TNT. Not without some cause of course - Jay's extremely regrettable homophobic remarks made several years ago linger long in the memory and still sting too - but various colleagues including Ian Riccaboni have publicly vouched for the conscious efforts made by the former titleholder to make amends with everybody his ignorance impacted.

That may or may not have been successful, but the pair's attempt to craic an AEW television spot remains less so.
