10 Wrestlers Triple H Will Make Champion

8. Finn Bálor

Is it fair to say that Finn Bálor has only ever really found success in WWE’s developmental?

Finn’s two major character turns - The Demon and The Real Rock’n’Rolla - were put in more prominent positions and more high stakes matches in Full Sail University than on Raw or SmackDown. Sure, he established himself as the first ever Universal Champion but after relinquishing it he’s become nothing but a footnote on that belt’s history.

During his 2016 to 2019 main roster run, his booking felt like that an afterthought rather than a man who should’ve been building back towards the top of the mountain.

Having been a large part of NXT in two different eras, he’s proven that he can carry a brand and is a fantastic face for the company when needed. Clearly quite an inventive guy, it’ll be interesting to see what happens now that superstars are apparently allowed a little bit more freedom to speak. Whether it’s as part of The Judgement Day or going solo, you can be guaranteed that Trips will have his eyes on Bálor and ready to pull the trigger when the time is right.

He certainly deserves more championship contendership, and if he’s given the time to get over, he may find himself reclaiming a top prize in the company.
