10 Wrestlers Triple H Will Make Champion
4. Shotzi
In a sense, Shotzi’s rather rapid ascension to SmackDown was a no-brainer. She had such a well-constructed look and even came with her own props. And WWE loves a wrestler with a prop, let’s face it.
Shotzi’s battle-tank was recognisable and a potential merch dream. Main roster booking however didn’t think any further than that, putting her in a mismatched team with Tegan Nox and not doing a whole lot else with her.
Will Triple H be able to resist pushing Shotzi? The wild and raucous metalhead girl with green hair who screams like a wolf and rides a tank must somehow speak to the Game’s most over and memorable of gimmicks in DX. At one stage, NXT figureheads definitely thought enough of her to famously publicly offer a contract at an EVOLVE show. It was like they were showing us where they were placing their bets.
Shotzi has a huge upside and whilst she might not be World Champion material right now, her time could come. In the meanwhile, there’s plenty of women in the division that she could team up with in pursuit of gold. Xia Li, Asuka or Rhea Ripley, to name a few, could offer a platform for Shotzi and themselves to carve out their niche.
