At one point seen as arguably the most vibrant team let loose on WWE programming for an age, the fall of Enzo and Cass from hot property to ultimately released squandered potential has been well documented.
And the same can be said of Triple H's apparent lack of desire to bring the now-nZo and W. Morrissey back to the WWE machine, with The King of Kings notably shooting down any talk of the pair being reintroduced into the NXT mix back when he was still steering the black and gold ship in 2019.
As Trips put it when talking before NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff:
"I immediately told our PR to shoot down the Enzo and Cass rumours. Absolutely zero interest. Congratulations to Enzo, I’m sure spreading rumours is working well for him but I want no part of it.”
So..

It must be noted that some folks within WWE were said to be "impressed" with the former Big Cass' recent AEW debut. But even with that being the case, Amore's crashing of Survivor Series 2018 and turbulent relationship with Trips in particular, has all but guaranteed the duo appearing again as a unit on Raw or SmackDown won't be going down on The Game's watch.
