Never one to shy away from casually sharing his honest opinion, wrestling legend Rob Van Dam clearly still feels he has something to offer to the biggest wrestling company on the planet, with the One of a Kind star even going as far as to reach out to WWE over a potential appearance in this year's Royal Rumble before being put on stand-by for the event.

And even as recently as this month, the star currently possessing a 'Legends' merchandise deal with WWE has confessed that it "would be awesome" to return to his former wrestling home before he calls time on his career in-between the ropes. Though, his follow-up of, "I kinda feel like if they wanted me there, then I would be there", when talking to NBC Sports Boston tells you all you need to know about the promotion's interest in the Hall of Famer as an in-ring talent at this current moment in time.

With Van Dam and The Game infamously not exactly seeing eye-to-eye at times when performing on WWE programming opposite one another as well, there's a very real possibility fans may have genuinely seen the last of the laid-back sensation in a WWE ring.
