10 Wrestlers We Can't Wait To See Miro Face In AEW

1. Hangman Page

Hangman Page
AEW

For Miro, there is no match as appealing taking on Hangman Page. Hangman has been AEW's MVP in 2020, not just for his incredible tag team with Kenny Omega, but for the nuance and entertainment present in his character.

In his recent promo on AEW Dynamite, he expressed a kind of mournful regret that isn't common in western wrestling. He is the kind of wrestler that can immediately grab a viewer's attention with his extravagant cowboy character and love of alcohol, but who can keep audiences engrossed every week with his emotional idiosyncrasies and in-ring ability. There's a connection to Hangman from the crowd now, everything he does right now matters.

Miro is clearly a skilled promo, that's proven by his time in WWE, but he's never been given the opportunity to properly define or craft his own character in a way that he could do feuding with Hangman. Their work in the ring together would be scintillating, they both have a lot of power and could clobber each other in a match of the year contender. But pairing the two together, whether before Hangman's feud with Omega or after it's concluded, would do wonders to define Miro as an AEW wrestler, not just an ex-WWE guy.
