10 Wrestlers We’d Love To See In The NWA

8. David Finlay

Braun Strowman 2020
NJPW

When you get to the point of being a fourth-generation superstar in the wrestling business, then you know it runs in your blood. While there have been many failed multi-generation superstars, David Finlay seems on track to be a very dependable one, as he's truly living up to the name passed down to him by his father Fit Finlay and those who came before him.

This superstar has had some of the best trainers in the world, as, alongside his father, he was built from the ground up in the NJPW dojo. This has turned him into a hard-hitting wrestler who combines flashiness with the grit of his family name.

Thanks to his time in NJPW, he doesn't have a tonne of traction in the US. While he has had success in pursuits for Impact and ROH, he could still benefit from some time in a promotion where he can take a bigger spotlight, and NWA could be just what he's looking for.

David Finlay is doing great in New Japan, so no one is looking for him to jump ship prematurely. Still, by the time he's starting to work in the US more, he may have attained enough of a reputation to shoot right up to the main event of the NWA.
