10 Wrestlers Who Went Back To WWE After Failing To Become An Actor

10. Diamond Dallas Page

Diamond Dallas Page Ready To RumbleProminent works: The Devil's Rejects, Ready To Rumble DDP makes it onto this list due to sheer dreadful quality of the roles he has done. Having retired full-time from pro-wrestling in 2002, returning for a brief stint in TNA in 2004-05, DDP kept himself busy prior to establishing his DDP Yoga website and returning to WWE as an ambassador in 2010 by acting in quite a selection of abysmal films. Chances are you'll have never heard of pretty much all of Page's roles should you be daft enough to bother researching what they were (like me). To put it mildly, Page made himself a buck or two by giving his name over to the z-list of all z-list movies. Thankfully, Page has since ditched the graveyard slot of feature film to focus on his vastly more successful and acclaimed DDP Yoga business, which has aided to the rehabilitation of the likes of Jake Roberts and Scott Hall- both of whom went in to the WWE hall of fame this year. Whilst Page's in-ring WWE career left a lot to be desired, the combination of his prominent run in WCW and the work he has done for former pro-wrestling stars, plagued by the demons of living the 80s and 90s pro-wrestling lifestyle since mean he himself is a sure-fire hall of famer one day. Fans of his, such as myself, will just casually brush his mid-2000s stint as a z-list actor under the rug, I think. He, himself, would probably be wise to do the same.
