Not as conventional in his approach to angering audiences, Lesnar has, all the same, proven to be a master of the art in recent years. Cashing in on his insanely comfy, part time schedule, Lesnar has presented himself as an often apathetic (yet deadly) fighter. 8 years in to his second run with WWE and the current generation continue to struggle with ousting him from the title picture.

His Royal Rumble performance earlier this year was a masterclass in working crowds. Bordering on unstoppable, Lesnar goofed around between opponents, mocked his rivals on the way to the ring and continued to build searing fan heat with every elimination. Fans went wild with joy when Drew McIntyre sent the Beast packing 26 minutes in.

While many wrestlers on this list earn audience annoyance through the use of a microphone, Lesnar does it via the complete absence of one. Frequently mute, Lesnar relies on Paul Heyman to serve as his mouthpiece. When a future opponent hits the ring for a promo, they usually have to deal with Heyman’s chit chat before even getting a reaction out of Lesnar.

Given his entertainment value on the mic in UFC, Lesnar’s current persona is not to disguise any lack of charisma. It is simply another step in his mastery of heelishly working modern crowds.
