10 Wrestlers Who Appeared In Genre Fare

2. Jesse Ventura - Predator/Batman And Robin/The X-Files

Prior to going into politics Jesse Ventura tried his hand at acting, and actually had a pretty successful run, highlighted by his stellar appearance as a Blain alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in Predator. It's in that role that he got to utter his "I ain't got time to bleed" catchphrase and play with a Gatling gun.

That classic sci-fi/action flick would be far from Ventura's only foray into the paranormal however. He would go on to appear in genre fare such as Demolition Man, Batman And Robin, and notably The X-Files, where he appeared alongside Alex Trebek (yes, the host of Jeopardy!) as a man in black in the 1996 episode Jose Chung's 'From Outer Space' - one of the quirkiest, yet still extremely popular, episodes of the show.

Perhaps its these roles that led Ventura to becoming the host of Conspiracy Theory, and now Off The Grid.
