While Cole Karter not signing with All Elite Wrestling despite a handful of appearances is surprising, the case of Marina Shafir is even more puzzling. After being released by WWE in June of last year, one of the Four Horsewomen of UFC arrived in AEW back in December - and has been a constant presence on all four of Tony Khan's programs.

In her nine months with AEW, The Problem has wrestled 25 matches across Dark, Elevation, Dynamite and Rampage, with some notable bouts taking place along the way. She has wrestled for both the AEW Women's and TBS Championships, losing to Thunder Rosa and Jade Cargill respectively in standout matches. On top of that, Shafir has also aligned herself with Nyla Rose and Vickie Guerrero to form The Beasts of Burden in recent weeks.

While there has not been much reported on why Marina Shafir is not officially signed to Tony Khan's company, at this point it would simply be a formality. While not a formal member of the roster, an announcement of Shafir's signing might be the first time fans realize she was not signed to the company long ago.
