10 Wrestlers Who Are Surprisingly Not All Elite...Yet

8. Johnny Elite

The Young Bucks Kota Ibushi
AEW

The Joker in All Elite Wrestling has been a very fun concept unique to Tony Khan's company. In any Casino stlye match, there have been surprise final entrant, normally either a returning wrestler or a debuting star who recently signed on the dotted line. Coming into the Owen Hart Cup, fans were waiting for who the Joker would be on both the men and women's brackets.

Maki Itoh was an underwhelming choice for the women's side, but fans were excited to see Johnny Elite arrive in AEW and face Samoa Joe in the tournament. After losing to Joe, the former John Morrison defeated Marq Quen and was soundly defeated by a returning Miro in back-to-back weeks. Since then, Johnny Mundo has remained unsigned by AEW, opting to perform in Game Changer Wrestling, AAA and a recent Progress tour in the UK.

While Johnny Elite may never be a contender for the AEW World Championship, he has made a place for himself in the wrestling world, being a reliable star no matter where he goes or what his last name is.
