Since All Elite Wrestling was formed on 1 January 2019, there has been a constant influx of the best wrestlers in the world signing on the dotted line for Tony Khan. Whether they be independent standouts, wrestlers released from WWE or relatively unknown stars looking to make a name for themselves, AEW has one of the most talented rosters from top to bottom ever assembled.

No matter how large or talented the roster is on Dynamite and Rampage, fans are always going to be speculating on who could pop up next for AEW. While it may seem like nearly every top star is currently signed to AEW, WWE, or elsewhere, there is a whole host of talented wrestlers currently out of the spotlight. While some fans may harp on Tony Khan for the sheer size of his roster, including some of the best in the world to his company can only be a good thing.

In fact, there are many names out there that fans are surprised have yet to sign with All Elite Wrestling. There are ex-WWE stars not yet signed anywhere else, wrestlers who have deep connections to the higher ups in the company or performers currently appearing on AEW programming, but still remain unsigned...

10. Cole Karter

Cole Karter is a shining example of how to make the best out of a bad situation.

After a somewhat controversial policy violation led to his release from NXT, he was told by WWE management that he could be brought back to the company in a year. That was bitter pill to swallow for the man known as Two Dimes, as he had just become a regular part of NXT television alongside Tony D'Angelo.

However, the former Troy Donovan took control of his own situation by almost immediately after his release popping up in All Elite Wrestling. A handful of matches on Dark were topped off by Karter challenging Ricky Starks for his FTW Championship at Fyter Fest. While he has assuredly impressed the shot callers in AEW, the biggest sign of his future with the company came earlier this month when he joined QT Marshall and The Factory on Dark.

After impressing the wrestling world with his in-ring skill as well as his ability to bounce back from an unfortunate situation, the sky truly is the limit for the Charleston native. While he remains officially unsigned by AEW, it should only be a matter of time before the former NXT star receives his 'Cole Karter is All Elite' graphic.
