10 Wrestlers Who Are Surprisingly Not All Elite...Yet

4. Erick Redbeard

When All Elite Wrestling was formed, Erik Rowan would have been one of the last wrestlers fans might have wanted to see sign with the company. As a member of The Wyatt Family, Bludgeon Brothers and alongside The New Daniel Bryan, the former tag team champion did not excel in the ring, on the microphone, and was constantly flopping around different unsuccessful gimmicks.

However, sometimes wrestling is about more than the on-screen product and more about the human beings involved with the sport we all love. Following the tragic passing of Brodie Lee, the entire wrestling world came to a halt to honor not only one of the best wrestlers in the world, but one of the best human beings involved in professional wrestling. At the Brodie Lee Celebration of Life episode of Dynamite, Erick Redbeard would show up, help The Dark Order, and said goodbye to his longtime tag team partner and close friend.

Since then, Redbeard has popped up in AEW a handful of times, wrestling alongside Death Triangle and Danhausen as well as various segments with The Dark Order. With his frequent appearances as well as his real-life connection with the family of the late Jon Huber, officially signing with AEW would be the next logical step for Erick Redbeard.
