10 Wrestlers Who Are Surprisingly Not All Elite...Yet
5. Sasha Banks
When Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of Monday Night Raw back in May, fans were split on what this would mean for two of the most talented women in WWE. Some fans saw it as Sasha and Naomi making a statement as means to an end to get the on-screen respect they felt they deserved - while others saw it as the end of the Women's Tag Team Champion's time in Vince McMahon's company.
Over three months from their abrupt exit, and there has been no official solution to the issue with both women. WWE has issued statements criticizing Sasha and Naomi, and suspending the pair indefinitely, while the pair remain largely silent. With the rumor mill circulating about the future of both women, Naomi seems more destined to return to WWE given her marriage to Jimmy Uso. That leaves The Boss with more questions surrounding her, with reports that she was going to be fired by the company on top of conflicting reports that The Blueprint was working on a return to WWE.
If the shoe finally drops and Sasha Banks is truly done with the WWE, there is no better option for The Boston native than All Elite Wrestling. Chelsea Green and Deonna Purrazzo are assuredly two of the best women's wrestlers in the world, but they lack the undeniable star power that Sasha Banks would bring the AEW women's division.
