8. Minoru Suzuki: Facial Expressions

A special nod to WWE's Alexa Bliss here, as 'The Goddess' has always been phenomenal and this aspect of her job (and many others). There's no shame in finishing second to New Japan's murder grandpa.

Much of Minoru Suzuki's menace comes from his mixed martial arts background as one of Pancrase's founding fathers, with his hyper-realistic, limb-snapping wrestling style providing another scoop. These things would mean little if not for MiSu's ability to physically project. Nobody inspires such dread with a simple scowl as the diminutive shooter, whose glare is capable of striking fear into even the biggest, most bellicose opponents, and his range is extensive. Most of his looks revolve around presenting himself as the most believably bad*ss fighter in the world, of course, but that's Suzuki. He's a trained killer.

None of this stuff is rehearsed, either. These are likely the same expressions Suzuki was throwing at green MMA trainees when he was torturing them in the Pancrase dojo back in the early '90s. He brings that same level of disrespect and disdain to the kayfabe world, conveying more terror with a simple twitch of his facial muscles than most monsters do with their entire 300lb bodies.
