10 Wrestlers Who Are Undefeated In 2022 So Far
2. HOOK (12-0)
Ever since he walked out onto the stage for his first match, HOOK has been The Man in AEW.
El Hijo del Taz has captured the attention (and hearts) of millions of wrestling fans with his uncompromising swagger and gravity-defying hair, going from meme to megastar in a matter of months.
Despite debuting in 2021, it was the following year that saw HOOK really break out. Not only did he keep winning matches, but he also won his first championship, too, when he dethroned Ricky Starks to become FTW Champion in July.
Other HOOK matches have included fights against Serpentico, JD Drake, QT Marshall, and Angelo Parker. He also got some serious mainstream rub when he teamed with rapper Action Bronson to take on 2point0 at AEW Grand Slam.
Bronson was also considered for this list, but that probably wouldn't have been received well.
At just 23 years old, the sky really is the limit for The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil. Like Sting, his first defeat in AEW will be a big deal, but, unlike The Stinger, his may not be on the cards for many years to come.
