10 Wrestlers Who Are Wasted In WWE

8. Cedric Alexander

Cedric is in an almost identical position to Apollo Crews.

Things looked so positive just last summer. In 2019, Alexander received some vignettes hyping his place on the Raw roster and then worked seriously fun matches against everyone from Drew McIntyre to AJ Styles. It was a hot start, and Cedric also got to team up with poster boy Roman Reigns a time or two as well.

All that seems like a distant memory in February 2020. These days, instead of watching him fly around the ring or sell his ass off for his peers, fans are more likely to read about Alexander's frustrations on Twitter or learn that Vince McMahon ain't too high on the thought of pushing him. This has to be torturous for the former Cruiserweight Champion.

He's another who could easily slot in elsewhere. A return to the independents would let him enjoy wrestling again, and then Cedric could maybe seek a spot in AEW, the NWA, ROH or take his skills to Japan. At 30 years old, he's in his prime, and he has to do something before his dream job turns into a nightmare.
