10 Wrestlers Who Are Wasted In WWE

6. Mustafa Ali

A mass toilet break could sum up Mustafa Ali's recent fortunes too, because WWE's handling of his progressive, inspirational character has been sh*t.

Ali's last televised match on SmackDown was a tag-team loss alongside Shorty G to The Revival on the 13 December 2019 episode. Since then, he's barely been seen outside of house shows, but one thing's for certain: Mustafa will show back up in those street-walking promos sometime soon.

They're part of the problem. Ali has been cutting the same speech for almost a year now, and he's been promising change without delivering once. That's on WWE. They're the ones who should've moved onto something more by now, and they're the ones who should realise that inserting random gaps between these vignettes doesn't trick people into thinking they're seeing something new.

It's unclear what Vince McMahon wants from Ali. He can fly, he can act as nice babyface foil for physically larger heels and he's shown he has more charisma than WWE probably thought going in. Despite all that, he's wasted.
