5. Minoru Suzuki

On one side of the wrestling world, you've got characters like Roman Reigns and John Cena reading from scripts and performing in overt spectacle-focused matches. Then, on the other side of the pond, you've got people like Minoru Suzuki, who go out there and pick their opponents apart.

The terrifying and incomparable leader of the Suzuki-Gun stable - which the previously mentioned Sabre Jr. is a part of - is by no means an easy opponent to face. His matches are terrifying to watch, as his in-ring mash-up of submission holds, strong style, and steady pacing makes his bouts feel like legitimate executions.

WWE's in-ring style takes a far different approach to this, as while believability is essential, there's also a significant focus on acrobatics, signature moves and general safety. That's not something Suzuki has in his arsenal, as he's best when it comes to toying with his opponents in legitimately tough to watch matches, looking like a tiger picking apart his prey.

His stern presentation, believable in-ring work and lack of visual flair are prospects that the world of sports entertainment tends to disvalue. Still, at the age of 52, Suzuki hardly needs a WWE run to establish his legacy.
