10 Wrestlers Who Are Way Too REAL For WWE

4. Trevor Murdoch

Suppose you had no knowledge about Murdoch's career and instantly thought he was a professional wrestler. In that case, you should be using your telepathic skills to solve crime, as, on the surface, Murdoch looks nothing like a pro wrestling superstar. While the likes of his namesake, Dick Murdoch, had similar looks in their prime, the wrestling world today is made up of people with far different aesthetics, and Murdoch doesn't match them.

This Missouri resident first joined WWE in 2005 after a solid run in World League Wrestling. He did find a decent amount of success in the company alongside his tag partner Lance Cade, but it was clear from the get-go that his average joe physique and lack of superstar presentation meant there was a ceiling for him in the company.

Vince McMahon even told him that he didn't like his "pasty white skin". Murdoch only found the success he had in WWE because he deliberately tanned to eliminate this. But nowadays, as he works for NWA, he's back to being himself.

His realistic body type and relatable look work so well with the National Wrestling Alliance, whereas we already know he was too real for WWE.
