10 Wrestlers Who Benefited Most From WWE Draft 2016

6. Becky Lynch

One of the most popular performers in WWE today, female or otherwise, Becky Lynch is the clear leader of SmackDown’s women’s division. She’s bright, affable, and a great wrestler, and while her feud with Natalya looks set to wind down, WWE can build SmackDown’s women’s scene entirely around Becky’s prodigious talents.

Lynch came through the door with Sasha Banks and Charlotte as part of the “Divas Revolution,” and while she has undoubtedly benefitted from their connection (particularly during her feud with Charlotte), her immediate future is best served away from them. Becky has already lost to them both, and with Sasha around, she was always likely to play second fiddle in the popularity stakes.

Becky Lynch won’t be a bit-part player on SmackDown, but a protagonist. She now finds herself as the biggest star in her division, and in Alexa Bliss, she has a ready-made long-term nemesis. She’ll be WWE Women’s Champion at some point down the line, but until then, Becky finds herself in a great position as one of SmackDown’s top babyfaces.

No longer overshadowed by her peers, it's time for Becky Lynch to step into a spotlight of her own.
