10 Wrestlers Who Burned EVERY Bridge On The Way Out

9. Gail Kim

Ultimate Warrior
Impact Wrestling

WWE may be a strong haven for women's wrestling now, but it was barely even a decade ago when the company's female stars were fighting over a pink butterfly belt and being reprimanded for performing moves that might "outshine the men". Gail Kim was, sadly, a victim of this era.

Kim's first run in WWE was fantastic, as she won the Women's Championship in her debut match, and was a constant member of the title picture for her short time with the company. She was unceremoniously released in 2004 due to cost-cutting, and WWE's desire to take the women's division in a new direction. You have to believe this is where her anger began to resonate.

After a successful run in TNA, she made her way back to WWE in 2008 and paled in comparison to her previous - albeit brief - success. Kim was booked less and less on the show, eventually - and infamously - eliminating herself from a Battle Royal after being instructed to get eliminated in the first minute. She then openly quit from the company on Twitter but was forced to stay until her contract expired.

This messy ending wasn't the climax, as the former Women's Champion has been openly vocal about Vince McMahon's deliberate efforts to suppress women's wrestling and her lack of respect for the company. Thankfully she was able to become a significant player in Impact, where she still operates as a producer.
