10 Wrestlers Who Butted Heads With WWE Creative (And Won)

4. Alundra Blayze

Like Bret Hart a couple of years later, Alundra Blayze was deemed surplus to requirements to the World Wrestling Federation in 1995, one of several victims of the company's renewed focus on pinching the pennies.

The only problem was that, at the time, she was still the reigning Women's Champion. And creative were therefore faced with the unenviable challenge of having to convince her to lose the title before her contract expired in December.

After failing to come to a compromise, Blayze rocked up on Nitro - reprising herr old ring-name of Madusa - with Vince McMahon's belt, throwing it into a trashcan live on air in one of the most infamous moments of the Monday Night Wars.

We're putting that one down as a massive win in her favour. How can it be anything else? She made an instant impact in her new stomping ground and made a complete mockery of her former employers all on the same night.
