Long before the days of Power and Glory, Hercules Hernandez was a heel who loved nothing more than dressing up like a gladiator in the hopes that nobody would recognise that he had confused Greek and Roman lore. The Original Managers Hercules first arrived in the WWE as part of Freddie Blassies stable, before ending up with Slick when Blassie retired. He would switch to Bobby Heenans services as part of a talent exchange in 1986, becoming the powerhouse member of The Brain's stable for a couple of years. Under Heenan, Hercules ditched the gladiatorial garb and started to develop a fondness for chains. He also became something of a threat, challenging Hulk Hogan for his title on an episode of Superstars before settling into some solid mid-card feuds. The Change Those days under Heenan would prove to be the best of Hercules' career as his contract was sold to Ted Dibiase in 1988. A face turn quickly followed, as Hercules took umbrage to a comment about being The Million Dollar Mans slave. One pinfall victory over Virgil later and Hercules was free to wind up the rest of his days as a jobber to the stars. Maybe life as a heel isnt always so bad if that's the end result.
