Before:

If you bought the hype without experiencing the performer, you were expecting the athletic evolution of Rey Mysterio. More rotations. Longer hang time. Higher leaping ability. The very name of Mistico summoned visions of an acrobat who could work a ***** match on a tightrope, the buzz was that deafening. Those who were aware of the performer knew Mistico had the ability to warrant the rep; he was a huge star in CMLL - a major drawing card and a spectacular attraction - and it seemed WWE had timed their recruitment of the next Rey Mysterio perfectly. Triple H was certainly confident, anyway, since he was very keen to parade the bag of magic beans he'd just purchased.

In a heartbeat:

The man could not jump on a trampoline for f*ck's sake lol. He was meant to clear these distances on his own in his capacity as a high-flying professional wrestler, and he couldn't pull off professionally what toddlers can do recreationally. He was cursed to drive on the wrong side of the road in total darkness, the poor prick, and the second he botched on his debut, the hype was revealed to be just that.
