10 Wrestlers Who Committed Disturbing Crimes
1. Buck Zumhofe - Child Sexual Abuse
"Rock 'n' Roll" Buck Zumhofe's secret life as a peadophile wasn't all that secret.
A staple of 1980's AWA, Zumhofe was the second ever AWA Light Heavyweight champion before departing the AWA for a successful tag-team run with Iceman King Parsons in WCCW.
Returning to the AWA in 1985, Zumhofe's record breaking second reign with the Light Heavyweight title ended abruptly when he was forced to vacate after being sentenced to 36 months in prison for sexual misconduct with a minor.
In 2018 that would be the end of your career, but in 1988 it was but a spot of bother.
Although he liked his champions to be fighters, Verne Gagne apparently held nothing against paedophiles holding his titles, as Zumhofe returned to the AWA in 1989 to capture his third Light Heavyweight title.
After the AWA collapsed in 1991, Zumhofe's only notable appearance was being the first man to be zipped up in The Undertaker's body bag.
Sadly however, Zumhofe was still alive and kicking - and still predatory.
In 2014 Zumhofe was jailed again, this time for 25 years, after he was convicted of 12 counts of sexual misconduct, relating to sexually abusing his own daughter between June 1999 and June 2011.
