10 Wrestlers Who Completely No Sold Finishers

5. Sting

Hhh Triple H
AEW

The magic of Sting no-selling his opponent's biggest move in AEW in 2022 is in how committed everybody is to believing in real magic occurring amongst all the unreal professional wrestling.

Think about that moment he pops up, screams, pounds his chests and sends the heels packing. It's an illusion, an impossibility, an incendiary moment amidst a story that at least follows the logical tenets of a wrestling match. But in the split second after 'The Stinger' leaps up from potential doom, the crowd goes wild in admiration for the man and in celebration of their own collaboration in something that willingly stretches believability beyond the brink.

There won't be too many cases where the multi-time former WCW Champion gets compared to Elias' "identical twin" Ezekiel, but this is exactly that - the whole thing only works because audiences make it so, and more power to both - crowds getting what they desire is supposed to be how all of this goes in the end.
