10 Wrestlers Who Could Be In Edge's New WWE Stable
9. Omos
After the semi-screwy finish at WrestleMania 38 (and an ever so slightly underwhelming match), it’s safe to assume the enmity between Edge and AJ Styles is far from over. May’s WrestleMania Backlash will presumably see the two renew hostilities, which most WWE fans would welcome.
Also at WrestleMania 38, Omos suffered his first singles loss in convincing fashion to Bobby Lashley. While the big man may be working with MVP going forwards, a more interesting angle could be for Edge to recruit him as the group’s muscle, at least for the duration of the Hall of Famer’s feud with AJ.
AJ and Omos have history, of course, and it would seem a sensible use of the latter’s skillset. While he’s acquitted himself well in the ring, few can really be clamouring for more Omos matches. He’s both easy and hard to book: really he should be squashing everyone he comes across, but that gets dull quickly, and he’s a long way off main event quality.
So, have Edge lure Omos into the fold to give the new stable that undeniable X factor. He’s over seven feet tall, and as we know, you can’t teach that.
