10 Wrestlers Who Could Debut (Or Return) On AEW Collision
5. Thunder Rosa
Thunder Rosa is not liked.
It's an understatement to say as much, but it rings true, given that in the hopes of revitalising a relationship between the former Women's World Champion and her peers, an AEW management-led meeting was held prior to the 8 February Dynamite. Whether the meeting was successful or not remains a mystery.
News of relationships having frayed between Rosa and numerous AEW talent won't be new information to many. Brought into AEW in late 2020, the ex-NWA star has been accused of sandbagging opponents, working stiffly, and conducting herself in such a manner that her colleagues came across as bullies. Britt Baker, specifically, isn't keen on Rosa as a person, doubling down on such claims more often than not in interviews. "I stand by everything I said", Britt uttered to SLAM Wrestling in March, questioning why Thunder Rosa was traveling for other work-related commitments when she wasn't doing so regularly for AEW tapings.
In short - keep Britt Baker on Dynamite and have Thunder Rosa on Collision, or vice versa. The former is adamant she'll continue working with Rosa as she's aware of what draws money; drama. If that's what Tony Khan wants, go ahead. To maintain a positive backstage environment for the women's roster though, keep the pair separated for a while.
