10 Wrestlers Who Could Win Their First World Title In 2022

1. MJF

Riddle WWE Title
AEW

There was only one choice for the top spot, wasn't there?

Maxwell Jacob Friedman is, simply put, one of the best performers on the market today. Recent rumours about WWE interest aren't surprising either, because the guy has been a sensation every single time he's appeared on AEW television since 2019.

It'd be a pity if MJF left All Elite (which, granted, doesn't look likely despite him playing games with the media and keeping folks guessing about his long-term future) without winning the AEW World Title first. That must happen, and Tony Khan should probs pull the trigger in 2022.

MJF's bratty, undignified behaviour means he breathes rarefied air in modern pro wrestling. He's a real heel who isn't afraid of the heat, and that's why he'll inevitably go on to become a linchpin for Khan's company. As for the future? Who knows, but that title win is essential.
