10 Wrestlers Who Could Win Their First World Title In 2022

7. King Woods

Riddle WWE Title

Some fans might've giggled had anyone suggested that regular tag-teamer Xavier Woods could snare a World Title run in 2022. After all, he's one third of New Day, and often seemed to lag behind Kofi Kingston and Big E in WWE's minds. That all changed once he won King Of The Ring.

Now, 'King' Woods has an identity of his own.

The overachiever in him could ride this horse all the way to the WWE Championship. F*ck it, who says he can't? This is a dude who has successfully flaunted his inner nerd right in Vince McMahon's face for almost a decade, and he's showing no signs of stopping any time soon.

Again, like with Damian Priest, WWE have options here. They could run with Woods as an underdog babyface akin to Daniel Bryan, or they could turn him heel, develop the royal persona further and have him feud with Big E over the WWE Title.

An unlikely championship reign could follow from there.
