10 Wrestlers Who Could Win Their First World Title In 2022

4. Ruby Soho

Riddle WWE Title
AEW

It's a bit mad to think that the former Ruby Riott didn't capture one championship in WWE. She was never NXT Women's Champ, and didn't get even a brief run as either Raw or SmackDown Women's Champ despite vying for both belts on TV. Christ knows how that happened, or...didn't happen.

AEW can make up for lost time.

The renamed Soho came across as a top star maybe for the first time ever during an in-ring promo dual with Britt Baker on Rampage a while back. In-ring, she's coming into her own, and it's only a matter of months before she's wearing that title around her waist on Dynamite and AEW pay-per-view.

Baker, as good as she is, can't survive the whole of 2022 as champ. Somebody else needs a shot of that strap, and Ruby is one of the top candidates. Then, after winning the AEW Women's Title, she'll feel truly vindicated for leaving WWE behind.
