2. Sean O'Haire

During the dying days of WCW, Sean O'Haire emerged as a promising young talent. While he was far from polished in the ring, his size and athleticism brought him some valuable attention. He and Chuck Palumbo became WCW World Tag Team Champions, and had the company continued to exist, O'Haire was in line for huge push.

In WWE, though, O'Haire's Power Plant training earned him a reputation for being unable to work. He was sent down to OVW, and in 2003, he finally came back with a new character - 'The Devil's Advocate'. This critically lauded persona saw O'Haire, via pre-taped promos, encourage fans to give in to their basest impulses and desires.

O'Haire wasn't as capable in front of a crowd, though, and his gimmick soon fizzled out. He was paired up with Roddy Piper, but when Piper left the company soon afterwards, O'Haire became an afterthought. In early 2004, he was released from his contract.
