10 Wrestlers Who Couldn’t Legally Wrestle!

3. X-Pac

At TNA Lockdown 2010, the former 1-2-3 Kid and X-Pac was scheduled to tag with his friend Scott Hall to take on Team 3D, but was replaced at the last minute by Kevin Nash.

Rumours began circulating to his whereabouts, with many believing Waltman had no-showed the event. He had only returned to the company three months prior on the much-hyped and promoted January 4th Impact!.

It turns out TNA knew at short notice he wouldn’t/couldn’t wrestle at Lockdown, with the Missouri Athletic Commission banning Waltman from wrestling due to his hepatitis C diagnosis. As a result, the following week TNA wrote him off TV completely when they filmed a segment where he was attacked off-screen and found laid out in a pool of blood (much like Pacman Jones when he couldn’t wrestle for the company).

Waltman has recently commented on his diagnosis and claimed he’s cured of it, noting he’s looking to wrestle once again sometime in the future:

"I had hepatitis C for a long time. I tested positive when I came back to TNA and was doing that stuff with Kevin and Scott and Hogan came in with Eric, all that. So after that, I couldn’t get cleared in certain states with athletic commissions and so TNA and WWE couldn’t really have me in matches, so I would just do little matches and nothing serious, no blood or whatever. Just this year, just this year I got cured."

Rex Jones hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
